Behaviour

One of the primary reasons pets are euthanized is because of behavioural problems. Many of these can be avoided, managed, and treated with the proper assessment, therapy and client, owner education. Behavioural problems should be treated like a medical problem and an appointment with one of our Vets should be the first step. Rechecks, or follow-up appointments, are important for reinforcing and modifying advice. We have phone consultation access to Board Certified Behaviour Specialists. We also can refer you to a local Behaviour Specialist for further consult. Go to our behaviour page for dogs and cats for additional information on behaviour.
