Susanna Swenson, MLT

Susanna

Receptionist

Susanna has had a long history of living and working with animals. While living in Zambia as a girl,  she took horseback riding lessons, which she continued after moving back to Canada in 1991.

Just after high school, she volunteered with the Aylmer SPCA where she was responsible for walking dogs and providing much appreciated attention to the cats.

In 2009 Susanna graduated from Everest College as a Certified Medical Laboratory Technician. Her desire to work in the health-care field merged with her love of animals, and drew her to the veterinary community. She was the proud owner of three ferrets – Drew who she purchased from a pet store, and Bandit and Tweek whom she rescued.

Susanna joined Beechwood Animal Hospital in 2010 and has been a valued employee since. She currently lives in Aylmer where she enjoys biking, reading, spending time with her cat Sandy, and anything to do with horses.
